Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan)

This iconic landmark in Na Chom Thian, near Pattaya, features the world’s largest carved Buddha image—an impressive 109-meter-tall and 70-meter-wide figure etched into a limestone cliff using laser technology and adorned with gold leaf.

Commissioned in 1996 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s reign, the image represents Phra Phuttha Maha Wachira Uttamopat Satsada in the Sukhothai style.
